Questions

Questions people ask.

Everything I get asked before someone books. If yours isn’t here, write to me and I will answer it myself.

Before You Book

I’m a beginner: is this for me?
Absolutely. You don’t need to be an experienced street photographer to join. Whether you’re just starting out or already have some experience, the workshop is designed to help you see more, photograph with more intention, and develop your own way of working.
What will I learn during the workshop?
We’ll focus on the way I approach street photography, from seeing and anticipating moments to composition, timing, light, shadows and storytelling. You’ll spend plenty of time shooting on the streets, with personal feedback and mentoring throughout the two days. We’ll also look at how to select and edit your strongest images.
I feel awkward pointing a camera at strangers. Will that be a problem?
Not at all. It’s something many photographers struggle with. I’ll share my approach to photographing people in the street and help you become more comfortable and confident while respecting the people around you.
What camera should I bring?
Bring the camera you’re comfortable using. Any camera is welcome: mirrorless, DSLR, compact or even film. The important thing is knowing your camera well enough that you can focus on seeing and capturing the moment.
What if I don’t feel confident with my camera settings?
That’s exactly what I’m here for. We’ll go through the settings you need and I’ll help you get comfortable with your camera before and during the shooting sessions.
What language do you teach in?
The workshop can be conducted in English, Italian or Spanish.

The Group Photography Masterclass

When is it, and how early do we start?
6 – 7 March 2027, in Prague. We’ll spend two full days together, starting at 7am both mornings to make the most of the early light, the kind that makes the alarm worth it.
How many people will be there?
Six at most. Keeping the group small means there’s plenty of time for personal feedback, mentoring and guidance throughout the workshop.
What is included in the price?

The workshop includes two full days of street photography in Prague, exploring some of my favourite locations and learning to see the city through a photographer’s eye. We’ll work on anticipating moments, developing your eye, timing and composition, and putting everything into practice on the streets.

You’ll receive personal feedback and mentoring, have the opportunity to shoot alongside fellow photographers, and see how I approach the editing process through a live editing demonstration from start to finish. You’ll also receive a finished edit of your best frame to take home.

Travel to Prague, accommodation and meals are not included.

Where do we meet?
The workshop takes place in central Prague, across some of my favourite locations in the city. I’ll share the full programme, meeting points and all the practical details closer to the workshop date, so you’ll have everything you need to plan your two days.
What happens if it rains?
We shoot anyway. The workshop runs rain, shine or fog. Prague can look completely different in challenging weather, and some of my favourite photographs have been made on days when most people would rather stay indoors.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Bring your camera, fully charged batteries and enough memory cards for two days of shooting. Comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are highly recommended. We’ll be walking and photographing for much of the day.
What happens if the minimum number of participants isn’t reached?
In case we don’t reach the minimum of 4 participants, I may need to cancel the workshop. In that case, you’ll receive a full refund of all payments made. I’ll let you know as soon as possible if this happens.

Photo Walks & Photo Shoots

What is the difference between a Photo Walk and a Photo Shoot?

A Photo Walk is about learning and photographing together. I’ll guide you through Prague, help you with composition, light, timing and camera settings, and give you feedback as we shoot.

A Photo Shoot is a more personalised photography session where I photograph you and create images for you to take home.

How long do they take?
Walks run 2, 3 or 5 hours. Shoots run 1 hour, 90 minutes or 2.5 hours. You choose the length when you book.
Do I get edited photographs afterwards?

For a Photo Shoot, yes, you’ll receive the photographs included in your chosen package, edited by me.

For a Photo Walk or Group Photography Masterclass, the photographs you take are yours. During the workshop, I’ll also demonstrate my editing process and, as part of the Group Photography Masterclass, create a finished edit of your best frame to take home.

Can you run a private workshop for my group?

Absolutely! If you are looking for a private photography experience for your group, I’d be happy to hear what you have in mind. Tell me a little about your group, what you’d like to focus on and your preferred dates, and I’ll see how we can make it work.

Get in touch and let’s plan something together.

Booking & Payment

How do I book and pay?
You can book directly through the website. Once you choose your experience and available date, you’ll be guided through the booking and payment process.
What do I pay up front?

For the Group Photography Masterclass, a 250 EUR non-refundable deposit reserves your place. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the workshop.

For Private Photo Walks and Photo Shoots, payment is made in full when booking.

Can I cancel or move my booking?

Yes. The cancellation and rescheduling terms depend on what you’ve booked.

For the Group Photography Masterclass, the 250 EUR deposit is non-refundable, while the remaining balance can be refunded if you cancel 30 days or more before the workshop. Cancellations made less than 30 days before the workshop are non-refundable.

For 1-on-1 Photo Walks and Photo Shoots, you can reschedule to another available date at any time, subject to availability. If you need to cancel, you’ll receive a full refund when cancelling 15 days or more before your scheduled date. Cancellations made less than 15 days before the session are non-refundable, and rescheduling is no longer available.

You can find the full details on the Booking Policy page.

How to cancel, and how your money comes back, is on Cancellations & Refunds. For a walk or a shoot, you can do it yourself from your confirmation email.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes! You can purchase a gift voucher for a Photo Walk, Photo Shoot or the Group Photography Masterclass in Prague. Once purchased, I’ll email you a unique voucher code, valid for 12 months.

When the recipient is ready to use it, they choose a walk, a shoot or a place on the workshop on the booking page and enter the code at checkout. It comes off the price straight away and the booking is confirmed on the spot.

If the voucher is worth more than the session, the rest stays on the same code and can be used again, until 12 months from the day it was bought.
