Cancellations & Refunds
Plans changed.
Here is how to cancel, what comes back and how long it takes. The rules themselves are in the booking policy. If anything here is unclear, write to hello@fernandopedrosalgado.com and I will sort it out.
Photo walks and photo shoots.
- Open the confirmation email you received when you booked. It comes from Cal.com, the calendar I use.
- Use Reschedule to move to another date, or Cancel to cancel. No need to write to me.
- Cancel 15 days or more before the date and the refund goes out by itself, straight away. You get an email saying exactly what came back.
Less than 15 days before the date, a cancellation is not refundable and the date can no longer be moved. If something serious got in the way, write to me anyway.
Can’t find the email? Search your inbox and spam for “Fernando Pedro Salgado”, or write to hello@fernandopedrosalgado.com with the date you booked.
The Group Photography Masterclass.
Write to hello@fernandopedrosalgado.com from the address you booked with, or simply reply to your confirmation email, and say you would like to cancel. I refund it by hand.
The deposit is non-refundable. The rest is refunded in full if you cancel 30 days or more before the workshop; for the 13–14 March 2027 workshop that means by 11 February 2027. After that, nothing is refundable. It is the same whether you paid the deposit or everything at once.
If the workshop does not reach its minimum of four people, I cancel it and refund everything you paid, including the deposit.
If you paid with a gift voucher.
Whatever a refund covers comes back the way it was paid. The card part goes back to the card. The voucher part goes back onto the same code, valid until the same date, so the card or email you were given still works.
Where a cancellation is not refundable, that includes the part paid with a voucher.
Cancelling a gift voucher you bought.
Within 14 days of buying it, and as long as the code has not been used, write to hello@fernandopedrosalgado.com with the code. I refund the full amount to the card it was paid with, and the code stops working at the same moment.
A voucher is valid for 12 months. If one runs out unused, write to me anyway; I would rather extend it than have anyone lose what they paid for.
If I have to cancel.
Everything runs rain, shine or fog. In the rare case that I have to cancel, you choose: a full refund or another date. A voucher part comes back onto your code either way.
When the money arrives.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, never anywhere else. Payments are handled by Stripe, and a refund usually shows up within a few days, depending on your bank. A voucher is back on its code immediately.
Still not there after two weeks? Write to hello@fernandopedrosalgado.com and I will send you the refund reference to give your bank.
